If in Joomla backend Temp and Log folder showing unwritable !
Sometime whenever we trying to update Joomla and it gives us a message of
Error 0 Cannot open file for writing log while updating Joomla
In the Joomla backend, go to:
System >> System Information >> Folder Permissions
